Daphne is the youngest generation of founding sheep Harriett's legacy. Although she is not purebred Romney (she is a natural colored Romney/Rambouillet cross), she looks very much like her beautiful mother Delilah and grandmother Harriett. Daphne was born prematurely - she was so tiny that she had to be bottle fed for the first few days because she was not strong enough to stand up and eat by herself. She has more than made up for it since. Although she is still a little bit petite, she is the most independent sheep in the flock. She produces a lovely grey-brown fleece like her mother and grandmother, but with a smaller, loftier crimp due to her Rambouillet daddy.
