Nell - affectionately known as "Momma Nell" - is a Wensleydale ewe. Nell came to our flock from Black Sheep Gathering along with our Gotlands, Corriedales, and Ariana. She took all the young sheep into her care and even now our flock is unusually kind and welcoming to new additions thanks to Momma Nell.  Nell is the mother of Nicole and Natalie. She taught us everything about lambing.  Due to her age she no longer produces enough fleece to spin into yarn but continues to be a wonderful mom and grandma to the flock. If you have some Nell in your yarn stash you are very blessed! Everyone loves Nell.
