Lana is a lovely white Wensleydale and (we suspect) Border Leicester cross ewe. Her previous owner doesn't know the breeding so we Lana lost her mother as a lamb but was luckily adopted by her aunt May. Most visitors think Lana and cousin Lottie are sisters. In some ways Lana looks more like May, because her fleece is showing Wensleydale traits - long, lustrous individual locks rather than fluffy fleece. We look forward to her future shearings!
